Acceptable use policy

Rules

Use Avantus only for school purposes, within the role your school has given you. Do not:

• share your sign-in, or use someone else's;
• look at a student's information unless your role needs it;
• copy or share student information outside the school's own systems and purposes;
• use projections to label, publicly rank or shame a student (student ranks are for staff only);
• try to get around access controls, test the security of the service without our written agreement, or overload it;
• upload anything unlawful, or information Avantus does not need, such as medical or wellbeing records.

Problems and breaches

If you see something wrong, such as information you should not be able to see, tell your school and us at hello@avantus.com.au. If this policy is broken, we may suspend access and will tell the school.
